Jalajala vice mayor dies days after being found positive of COVID-19. The vice mayor of Jala-Jala, Rizal has died a few days after testing positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), his son said on Tuesday night. Vice Mayor Jolet Delos Santos tested positive for the virus on March 26, Thursday. Delos Santos was said to have developed symptoms after attending the Philippine Councilors League. "Napakasakit po sa aming buong pamilya ang biglaang pagkawala ng Ama ng ating bayan," his son Jom said on Facebook. He said he didn't see his father during his last moments. He also called on the public to gather and commemorate the life of his father once the "storm" subsides.
